Educational discount#

We offer a 30% sitewide discount to schools, students, and educators. Theatre programmes run on tight budgets, and the people teaching the next generation of stage technicians shouldn't have to choose between a working node and feeding their lighting class.

Who qualifies#

• Students at any school, college, or university — undergraduate, postgraduate, or further education.
• Teaching staff at the same.
• Schools and colleges themselves, ordering equipment for use in productions or teaching.
• Drama schools, theatre training programmes, and conservatoires count too.

If you're not sure whether you qualify, ask — we'd rather say yes than no.

How to claim#

Fill in the short form at /edu/discount-request/ from your educational address (.edu, .ac.uk, .sch.uk, or your institution's equivalent). It asks for who you are, the institution, and a one-liner about what you'll use the gear for.

We'll review and email you a single-use discount code — usually within one working day. The code drops straight into the discount box on the checkout page.

If you'd prefer a custom invoice (institutional purchase order, larger order, etc.), reply to the confirmation email instead of using the code and we'll set that up by hand.

Notes#

• The discount stacks with neither bulk pricing nor any time-limited promotional codes — whichever is the larger discount applies.
• VAT is calculated on the discounted total where applicable.
• Schools outside the UK are welcome too; international shipping rates apply as normal.
